Pig Lock Systems

Pig lock / stop systems are installed on the outside of the pipework, the pig lock incorporates a stop pin which protrudes into the bore of the pipe work and holds the pig in place. When the pig is required to be released the pin can be retracted by using the ROV / Diver friendly mechanical interface.

Pig locks / stops can also be used as a safety feature to prevent pigs being accidently fired.
